The hair today is so different. A faux mohawk look? Now Trump supporters wear that. Dyeing your hair green? Your mother does that now. It was so radical in&nbsp;<em>Pink Flamingos<\/em>&nbsp;when we did it, but you couldn\u2019t buy it. They had to bleach their hair out to white and then use India ink and magic marker to get that color.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>I agree with that. I use a little gel\u2014American Crew Forming Cream. Even with that, I would never be caught dead in a convertible. I have a dear friend in L.A.<\/p><cite>The Jonathan<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Divine hated being a hairdresser. His mother made him become one. . . . He took it out on the customers; he\u2019d go through their pocketbook, steal the women\u2019s coats. When he was growing up in high school, his mother forced him to stay home and do her hair every night. That was hairdo abuse! I think PETA should do a whole campaign about crabs because they are extinct!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No.&nbsp;<strong>Alan Cumming<\/strong>&nbsp;had one called Cumming. When I go to France and say my name\u2019s John Waters, they laugh because, to them, that means toilet waters. I do want to have mine. It will basically be urine mixed with Evian. It would say that it\u2019s purified in the Swish Alps. I hope that\u2019s not too many careers. Male war paint, here it comes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You\u2019re right! I didn\u2019t even think of that. . . . I used to tell my mother about the weird kid in my class who drew with black crayons all the time. I talked about him so much that she mentioned it to the teacher, who said, \u201cThat\u2019s your son.\u201d So I was creating a character for myself. All children should be given the freedom to do that. I\u2019m still playing with black crayons, and I\u2019m mad I never could get the Maybelline ad.
